Rodent is basically a type of a as small animal like Rat, Rabbit having a sharp tooth. There are different types of rodents available such as Bandicoot, Roof-Rat, House Mouse.
1. Bandicoot
Bandicoot are generally found outdoors and tend to live in fields & farms. They usually do not enter the buildings but stay in vicinity of the garbage dumping areas in the cities.
Bandicoot Behaviour
Bandicoot are the type of rats are more aggressive burrowers making tunnels even in concrete foundations and warehouses. These rodents are hoarders and may cache huge amount of grain in their burrows. Quite aggressive when threatened and make pig-like grunts while attacking.
Risks
Bandicoot are serious pests of fields and farms. They usually provide harm to crops, grains, fruit crops, gardens & the building floors.
2. Roof – Rat
Roof-Rats are basically a type of Rats that are usually an expert climber and are black to light brown in colour with a lighter underside. These Rats basically has a longer tail than their body. Their eye sight is quite poor as compared to their smelling, hearing & touching sense.
Roof Rats originated from India and Eastern Africa and now they are spreading all over the world.
Roof-Rat Behaviour
Roof-Rats has incisors that generally grow at a rate of 4 inches per year. Rats control their incisor teeth by continuously chewing, which can result in extensive damage in the house, workplace or building. They usually chew on anything that comes in their path causing huge damage. They also urinate and produce droppings frequently; contaminating everything they come into contact with. Roof rats are quickly able to detect and avoid new objects placed in the familiar environment.

3. House Mouse
The House mouse originated from East-Asia and has spread throughout the world through the supply chain & import/export. These mice usually live in grassy areas.

House Mouse breed throughout in outdoors on the summer days and indoors they breed continuously. The Mice never move too far from their nest, and always use the same route when travelling to and from it, preferring to navigate around the edge of a room. Grease build-up in their fur, from urine and dust, creates smear marks which can be evident.
